Pipe relining. A new pipe inside the old one, without the digging.
Cracked and root-damaged sewer and stormwater pipes fixed from the inside. Your lawn, driveway and garden stay where they are.
If a pipe runs under a driveway, a pool or a mature tree, relining is often cheaper and quicker than digging it up.
Relining puts a resin-soaked liner through the old pipe from an existing access point. Once it's cured, it forms a hard, seamless new pipe inside the old one, sealing the cracks and joints that let roots and water in.
Not every pipe suits relining. A collapsed or badly sagging pipe may need to be dug up and replaced. We inspect the line on camera first and tell you honestly which option makes sense, and what each will cost.

Camera inspection
We clean the line and check it on CCTV so we know exactly what we're lining.

Clean and prepare
Roots and build-up are cut out so the liner sits against clean pipe.

Install the liner
A resin-soaked liner goes in through the access point and is cured in place.

Final camera check
Branch connections are reopened and the line is checked on camera again.
Questions
How long does relining last?
Relining liners are designed for a long service life, measured in decades rather than years.
Do you have to dig at all?
Usually not. We use an existing access point such as the inspection opening. Occasionally a small access hole is needed.
Is relining more expensive than digging?
It depends on what's above the pipe. Under a lawn, digging can be cheaper. Under a driveway or house, relining usually wins. We'll price both if both are options.
